Red Pasta Sauce

2 cans tomato paste
2 cups water
salt to taste
20 or so tiny cubes of freeze dried garlic
canola oil
olive oil

get 1 cup of water ready
Get sauce pan hot
Open both ends of tomato paste cans
Add canola oil to hot pam
Add garlic to hot pan
As soon as garlic gets golden immediatelty add 1/2 cup of water
Immediately add tomato paste
Stir

Add salt ot taste start with 1/2 tsp
Add olive oil to taste start with 1 tablespoon

4 tbsp olive oil
3 cups water

Bulghur Recipe

1 part Bulghur
1 part Water
Pinch of salt

Stir
Nuke for 3 minutes
Stir
Let sit until double
Stir

Lentils

1 part lentil
2 parts water
pinch salt

boil
let rest

Yogurt Sauce

Yogurt
Water
Salt
Cubed cucumber
Splash of olive oil

Mix all together
Put in fridge

teriyaki style sauce

2 cubes ginger
2 tbl / big glug of garlic oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup wine
1 tsp msg/chicken salt
1 tsp onion powder
2-4 tbl sugar

microwave to melt sugar
mix 1/4 cup water + tsp cornstarch
finish in pan where chicken was cooked

Cafe Mocha Mix

1/2 c milk
1/2 c h-n-h

3 tbl sugar

2 tsp cocoa powder

1/2 tsp xantham

The Brine

For every 16oz water add

1 tbl salt
1 tbl sugar

3 tsp salt
3 tsp sugar

or

0.5 oz salt
0.5 oz sugar

Banana / Veggie Bread

2 eggs
3 bananas
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup liquid fat

2 cup baking/pancake mix
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon

mix wet
mix dry

combine by adding wet to dry

pour and bake 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour for bread
pour and bake 350 for 20 minutes to 40 minutes for cupckaes

Substitutions
1-1.5 cups mashed/packed/shredded vegetables like zucchini, carrot, banana, pumpkin, squash

1/2 cup fat
    1 stick butter
    1/2 cup oil
    any variation combined

1 cup sugar brown, white, any variation combined

Additions
0.5 cups of nuts or chips

Chili Mac

1 box elbows noodles

1.5 lb groud beef

28 oz can diced/chopped/pureed tomato

1 can tomato paste

1 finely dice onion

1 tbl chili powder, whatever spice level your family likes

salt to taste

boil noodles with salt+water

brown and crumble beef in tall pan, with salt

brown onions after beef has been browned in same pan

drain noodles and toss with butter in same pan noodles were cooked in

add tomato paste to beef, stir

add crushed tomato to beef and stir

low simmer for no longer than 1 hour, no less than 5 minutes

add cooked noodles, stir and serve

Ceaser Dressing

2 tbl lemon/lime juice
1/8 tsp dried garlic
1/2 cup oil
big pinch salt
1/4 tsp anchovy paste

combine all ingredients

Pineapple Dip Sauce

1/2 cup pineapple chunks rings
1 tbl brown sugar
splash lemon/lime juice

blend
-for adults add clean hot sauce (as in hot, with little or no added flavor) or cayenne pepper

DavidDad’s cookies

2.25 cups baking mix
2 sticks butter
1.5 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Set oven to 375
Cream butter and sugar
Add egg and vanilla and combine
Add flour and combine
Add chocolate chips and combine
Place 1 tablespoon of cookie dough on cool sheet pan
Bake at 375 for 8-12 minutes, until edges are golden.

Dad’s Meatloaf

1 med-large onion
4 stalks celery
15-20 baby carrots
1 pat butter
3 large pinches of salt
1 tbs soy sauce

4 slices of bread (or 1 cup bread crumbs)
3 eggs, beaten
0.5 cup milk

1.5 lb ground beef

Dice veggies (mirepoix).
With pat of butter, saute mirepoix with big pinch salt until golden.
Put mirepoix in food processor, add soy sauce, process.
Move oven rack to middle, set oven to 365.
Add 4 slices of bread (or 1c breadcrumbs) to food processor and process.
Add milk and process until well combined. Transfer processed veggie, bread, and milk mix to large bowl.
Add ground beef to bowl, using hands combine until mixed.
Beat 3 eggs, add beaten egg to mixture, combine.
Place mixture in loaf pan and bake until done (internal temp is greater than 150 degrees) which is about 45 minutes.
